Life in the Fast Lane

In the current time, it’s seen that each person is busy in life with their own work, be it from their college life, office duties, managing their family etc. The sad part of this is, people don’t realize how monotonous their life has become with their daily routines and due to this they end up forgetting their own self and the person they are in life. It’s true that in life it’s very important to set your career and to take care and be there for your family, but does not mean one loses himself in this process and not do the small things which made him happy. It’s always important to make time for yourself from your routines and do things which make you happy and also give break in your life and live it the way you wanted before it gets too late. By getting monotonous in life in order to earn money and save it, you might have a huge bank account in the end but the money you earned Cannot buy you back your time and the happinesses you missed in the process of earning money and living the life the same way every single day. After one age one might understand this, but it would be too late to bring about a change. So always live life for today and never for tomorrow and learn to cherish each and every thing in life and enjoy it to the fullest.

This picture is one which I shot on a rainy night, moreover I was bored at home and thought I l experiment something with the camera, so decided to do something different, that’s how I decided to take this pic. Even though my camera got wet a little, it was worth the efforts

The old Harbor Hotel

The old harbor hotel, fort kochi is said to be one of the oldest of hotels in Kerala which is built in a Dutch style of Architecture with a Portuguese influence on it. This one before being turned into a beautiful hotel seen now has a huge history behind it.

It is said to be as old as 300 years and it was used as the Dutch residence initially and then as years past by, it was taken to be used as a residence for the British employees who were in charge of a tea broking firm. This beautiful building in time was made into a hotel which resides along the Cochin coast with the beautiful view of the Chinese fishing nets

I shot this picture when I made a visit to fort kochi and was lucky to visit this amazing hotel, unfortunately I couldn’t stay over as I just made a days visit to this place and truly enjoyed every bit of the surrounding and culture prevailing in fort kochi.

Stairs to success

Success is something which no one can achieve in a short span of time, it’s something which takes a long time to achieve based on how one works towards it and about how dedicated that person is to achieve the goal he wants to attain in life. In the journey to achieve success coming to the goal one wants to reach, there may be a lot of up’s and down’s in the process of achieving what you want but what matters the most is to have a strong will and continue to Go against the situation and climb back the same stairs which you are pushed down by the various factors. It’s not easy to attain success and in the process of it one can learn a lot of things which is moroever the lessons one can learn in life so that you don’t fall in the same pits of failure and can overcome the hurdles in a much easier manner.

The picture above is shot in college on one of the days I decided to stay back after classes

The joy of Deepavali

Sometimes you just wish you got your childhood back and cherish each and every moment be it from the smallest of things of bursting a bijilli bomb to seeing the rockets fly over the skies, having a life of only happiness and not having any worries, burdens or sorrows and enjoying and living each day as it comes with a smile

This picture I shot it during the festival of diwali and the kid in the picture is none other than my neighbor, I was seeing the way he was enjoying the festival, bursting his crackers with his dad. That view just took me back in time of how I celebrated the festival and the excitement I had when the festival came cannot be explained in words, it’s sad about how time flies and how the time changes you as a person too in various ways, but that’s the hard truth we have to accept

College canteen

In college life, probably the only place all of us sit and put down our thoughts coming to each and every thing be it from exam preparation to planning on a one day trip is done in the canteen. In engineering we have various branches and getting to meet your friends is only possible in the break time. Even though the time we spend is about half an hour in break, each day has it’s own sweet memory of waiting in queue to get your food to sharing the food with your friends and laughing over the silliest jokes about things happened in class to pulling your friends leg for something stupid he did and to convincing your classmates to bunk the next hour of class and go for a tea instead. The memories a student has in the canteen is way too many, just not mine but that of each and every one who is a part of their college life

The picture I shot above was on a Monday morning when I ended up reaching college by 7am mainly because I was in charge of helping few others host a marathon in college. So that’s when I got to witness the morning rays hit against the canteen chairs
